Micman Commission- Tsukiko

Heheh.... Yeah, recently watched Paranoia Agent, and I'm mostly just happy I'm not the only one to think Tsukiko is a prime suspect for this stuff.... Isn't she cute?

I really don't draw babies on their backs very often, even though it's a natural position. She's just so cute, isn't she? ^^ Her design always had an adorable edge to it, but think Martin's coloring on this one is really what pushed it over the top. I sohuld let him talk about that....

And without that, there's really not much to say on this one. Maybe it's just because I'm scatterbrained.... Anyway, love how the coloring came out. I just wanna tickle those little feet.

Martin's Comments: I'm not really sure what all to say here. Kind of covered most of my thoughts on the series as a whole on her recent pic in the challenge. . . Speaking of, didn't want to mention it there, but anyone happen to notice the cameo of sorts in that pic? If you didn't, go take a look again and see if you can notice something off.

Anyway, yeah... Happy with this one, but I'm not sure how much I have to say about it. I should give the series another watch sometime, or a proper one rather, but I already went into detail on that on that pic.

Martin's Further Comments: Oh, right, the shading thing. Somehow I completely forgot about that. Yeah. . . Essentially, I've been meaning to experiment with shading for some time now, and I decided to use this pic as a little practice for it. Pretty happy with the results for a first real time trying it, though I do think they could use some fine-tuning; was mostly trying to go for that anime-ish darker part thing as opposed to being terribly complicated with it. Though initially I was way more in depth and precise with the hair; Adam pointed out I should maybe tone it down and I decided to do so.

Not sure when this'll get integrated into being a permanent thing. It didn't really add much time to things outside of one quirk of Manga Studio's I quickly figured out how to address, but I could see it spiralling out of control on comics. All the same, would love to hear what everyone thinks of this attempt.
