For all of the Erika-related works, here's her listing- [link]

Poor little Erika gets a sick re-hashing of her favorite show, courtesy of one of Sarah's friends. I like the idea of Erika watching baby programs, so just figure this is cute. I love how upset she gets when it's explained to her, since you know she'll never watch the show the same way again, the poor baby.

I remember the Teletubbies came out when I was like 12 or 13 and I was freaked out by it. I get that by that point I was way beyond the target audience, but there was just something really messed up about the premise, and the looks of their faces just creeped me out. Hopefully now Erika will switch to Seasame Street instead.

This is the second time I've drawn this comic. I did it earlier before my old computer went down and took all those comics with it. To be honest though, the original version didn't look very cute, artwork-wise, so at least being able to re-draw it so it's better-looking is something of a silver lining.

Incidently, this is Joyce, one of Sarah's grown-up friends. At first she was just invented for the purposes of this single comic (Marie is usually Erika's go-to toddler for making her suffer, but she's not this creative), but wound up re-using her in an upcoming story. That's kind of why I went out of the way to re-draw this one, so the readers would recognize her. She's fun- has this great Nightmare Fuel Station Attendent thing going on.

Which reminds me, I got the idea for the Teletubby thing from TV Trope's Wild Mass Guessing Page for the series- [link]

Yeah, artwork on this one is a step-up from the original, but still has its problems. The lines are a tad sketchy and the characters aer very chubby, especially in the last two panels. I get that she's wearing a diaper, but Erika's butt looks huge in the last panel.

As long as we're talking about artwork, I did the colors alllll by myself. ^^ That's why they're so much brighter and less-subtle then when :iconlizuka: does them. Well, okay, Martin did do Joyce's colors. The whole dark-skinned-redhead bit? His idea. Really like it how it came out.

I think I have more to say with comics, given how long the comments here came out. Hope you guys enjoy, and also see my point about that show! ^^

EDIT: How is it this got so few favorites yet so many comments? Also, who editted the Joyce stuff onto Tropes? Because that guy's awesome.

...Huh... So that's why my dad didn't want me watching this...

...Or any of the other kids shows... Good god! I KNEW something was wrong! I KNEW IT! ...But I just couldn't save my friends from it... I just couldn't...

Also, TVTropes! Woohoo!

Heheheh... How to combat the evil of Teletubbies? Watch a show with a less malevolent background, or use videogames. OR!
OR!!!!!
You could go and play OUTSIDE!

Heheh. Playing outside is always best. ^^ Glad to find another Troper who was fond of this piece!

O_O That is absolutely insane and yet also makes an insane amount of sense. Personally, I think the Teletubbies are androids because of the TVs on their bellies, but, again, this makes way too much sense.

Well, androids make sense too. I mean, it's possible they were made as playmate-androids for small children and are still functional after humans died out. The TVs in their torsos could've been meant to play cartoons or educatoinal programs, the feeds of which were received from their antennas. But since mankind is extinct the feeds for the shows are no longer transmitting which is why the Televisions don't show anything.

Hhhmm, not what I was expecting. I was thinking she watches the kids show and starts to get all entranced then wares diapers and acts real little.
