With my computer down, I've had limited ability to draw. I can do things on paper but they're all of so much lesser quality (:iconlizuka: can't fly down here with a case of paint to color them for me). Because of this even though I've got plenty of comic scripts written up, ready to be drawn, I didn't touch any of them because I was afraid they'd only look like crap and leave me wanting to re-draw them with the tablet.

Haven't done anything I thought had real potential and needed to be good, including this one big thing I promised Lizuka, since I know it would just suck. But I figured I could go out on a limb and try a comic and hope it'd turn out good.

And did it? ..... Eh. Think it looks okay, and Martin said it's my best work on paper, but there are so many errors I can see, mostly coming out through the inking process. First and last panels are the only ones I think look really impressive. Everything between is lackluster.

Still, maybe you folks'll enjoy it anyway. I'm getting a new computer this morning, and once I get everything set up with Manga Studio, it's back to business.

Also- I didn't notice this until I was finishing the last panel, but Erika is stuttering in her thought bubble. She's not even talking and she's stuttering! In her mind! That's probably a sign I over-use that. Although she manages to talk clearly in her narration boxes, so there's that.

I liked the story; good job on that. As for stuttering in a character's thoughts, that's totally fine. I like to flesh out dialogue in my own writing via a character's thoughts, and I know that stuttering in the mind is a common trick now-a-days. I may not be very helpful in giving critiques on the art, but I can at least try to help with the writing.

On another note, I like the Erika storyline. I'm tempted to try my hand at a fanfiction piece (one that involves the mysterious stranger from the beginning of part one).
