Heheheh. As a comic book greek I guess this was inevitable. I was surprised that more of them were from Marvel though, since I'm such a DC nut.
Yeah, so... Jean Grey is first. Put her in the whole Phoenix thing.... Had to do Katie of course since she's so adorable. Then Kyle Rayner; my favorite Green Lantern. Of course they had to mess around with things and make him Ion in the ridiculous decision to bring back Hal Jordan.
Spidey is back, in the same outfit he wore when he got age regressed and hung out with the Power Pack kids. Heh. And Harry Osborn is there too. He's the only one not pampered.... I just wanted to draw him because I thought all the Goblin Gear from the Spidey 3 looked cool.
Oh, yeah. And Wonder Tot. Gave her Diana's hairstyle and a different outfit.
awww so cute! Kyle is my third (sometimes second) favorite GL. I'm actuley very fond of Hal,but not with the whole Paralax non-sense,they shouldv'e givin Kyle & the others a little more attention. D:
Appreciate the favorite on this. ^^ Kyle is my favorite GL by far, one of my favorite DCU heroes. But yeah, really getting sick of Hal being thrown in our faces.
You did very well on this, mostly because you're in a comfort zone of what you already knew and envisioned exactly what you wanted. I think the best out of this would be Goblin Jr. and Pete on the Goblin-Board togeather, forever immortalized as friends and not enemies. That's basicly the part that catches my attention the most, because you did so well on both of them. (Harry I favor more because you have the detail spot on) There's also Phoenix, who I think is adorable when she's not all psycho-killer mode, but you've captured her essence there. Kyle Rayner is the Lantren I favor as well because I can relate to him the most- well, because he's a struggleing cartoonist who can't seem to get a big break because all of the monsters he's fighting. XD
You're strong spot is here with comic-book characters, that's where your artstyle shines alot, because I can tell you took your time on this to get everyone right, because it's something you know and love. Good work on this, buddy.
Heh. Didn't think you'd like it so much. But thanks alot for favoriting.
I did really enjoy this.... The only ones I really had to do research on were Harry and Kyle since I wasn't positive on how they looked. Although since I couldn't get a really good full-body shot of Goblin Jr. I wound up just piecing together what I remembered from the movie. For Kyle I got to look close at my Ion TPB.
Peter and Katie were no problem since I've already drawn them and I had an idea for what to do with Phoenix... Did look up some pictures of Wonder Tot for her old outfit from the Silver Age....
Heh. I guess I should draw heroes more often since I liked doing the costumes so much... Thanks alot for the big comment and favorite. ^^
Great pic. I especially like the version of Katie. I still haven't gotten the chance to pick up any of the Power Pack books, though I have seen Katie before in one of the "Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius" one-shot comics.
Thanks, espicially for favoriting. I do really love Katie. She's so adorable. I like her brother Alex too....
Heh... Gotten the "All Ages" Power Pack books, and they're alot of fun. I never read any of the Franklin Richards ones, though. Which is weird since I like the Fantastic Four so much....
I only have one of the one-shots, but they're fairly entertaining and cute. It's especially entertaining to me, as it's shown that Franklin and Katie are in the supposedly in the same class at school, and that Katie has a crush on him. Entertaining if you can find it at your comic shop.
