Annakatan Commission- Art Gallery

Yeah, was a big commission, this one. ^^ For the record, we're still taking them. I'm starting to wonder if people are under the impression we're not doing art commissions anymore. To show there's no confusion, here ya go!

Yeah, had a lot of fun with this one, in particular the varying style between "real" world and the cartoony world in the paintings. Really, it should've been backwards, with the Hyrule world having thicker lines an the paintings having thinner, barely-noticeable lines. I guess Hylian art is heavily inspired by the Pop Art movement which was itself heavily inspired by American Comic Books. I always saw the country's art world owing much to the Romantic movement, but God knows I can't handle that.

God, that went in a weird direction, didn't it? Whatever, Kafei's great to see again and we can never get enough Link. ^^ Also liked the touch of Zelda holding onto the panel edges as she's being sucked in. Yeah, experimented around with this comic a lot.

Martin's Comments: Just now commented on so weird having to immediately jump to commenting on an entirely unrelated comic that's completely different in pretty much every way. Except the kickass color scheme, that's a constant. You can see more of it in action at .
    
That being said, yeah, this one wound up this weird hodge-podge of different games in the series. More OoT-based Zelda, random Kafei, but more related to the Link Between Worlds concept. Then again the Zelda series does this sort of thing all the time within itself; let's just say this is set in Hyrule Warriors or something, would probably explain it.
    
Sure this'll probably end up inspiring a comment or two about Iwata. Guess it's appropriate we're submitting something Nintendo-related tonight.
