134. Wendy

Heh... Between this being an OC and not in a terribly cute situation, doubt this'll get much attention. Though it is Pokemon-related (first guy we showed this to thought it was some kinda Pokemon RP character) so maybe not. I'm still pretty thankful for all the favorites you guys gave Sabrina. ^^

But yeah, Wendy is a character of Martin's creation- specifically of the Oppur Town Days stories. I'll leave him to elaborate on that, but suffice to say she's a Pokemon geek so something involving the franchise was an obvious pick.

She also fishes, so easy choice to go with there on Magikarp. ^^ Not much of an outdoorsman, but fishing is said to be very relaxing, so thought I'd try to put some detail in the surrounding landscape and give the picture sort of a quiet feel. Not exactly a Bob Ross landscape or anything, but hope you guys enjoy.

Martin's Comments: For those concerned about the Magikarp - don't worry, she's a vegetarian! She'll throw it back. Though even if she didn't, sure we all know from the anime what happens when you try to eat one, so probably lucky for her that she doesn't eat meat.

What's funny is this idea on paper didn't have anything to do with Pokemon - Adam decided to throw that in on his own. The other two ideas for her did involve it, though - one with her, after some mental regression (as, like with pretty much all of my characters, she normally doesn't wear diapers), winding up needing to be shown how to read by her friends leading to her spelling out her name in Unown. The other had her going through the standard Pokemon intro, diapered for whatever reason.
